T.U.K Creepers

Recently, not too recently, but recently I got a pair of T.U.K shoes. To be honest I'm fairly short. I'm 5'7 so I'm a bit, err... not happy with my height. I'm not a sneaker person. I never really was ever since I was younger. I've always been a shoe/boots type of person. The problem is with boots, they make my legs look shorter than they are and it's not something I like, but I do love boots (´・_・`). The reason why I decided to get creeper shoes was because I saw that Prada had come out with these really great Creepers :
(These are in black but they have them in several assorted colors).
I thought they were so cool, but I wasn't a fan of all the different colors, and I don't like the soles so much. So I did a little bit of research and I wasn't all that familiar with creepers. I did kind of know that they were related to some subcultures like Punk and so I thought that was interesting and appealing, too, but punk went tacky the past several years to me (Avril Lavine is so like, totally Punk Rock! (>_<#) ). But recently I started watching Nana and I found the fashion in the anime really inspiring and they always wore Creepers (Nobu and Ren in particular).
Anyway these are the ones I got :

The website describes it as "The Original T.U.K Creeper with Classic Mondo Rubber Sole." Alright, cool. The thing that surprised me was that they're $68.00 USD. I think that's rather cheap for something that had such novelty appeal. I thought these were perfect. They can match a lot of things and are extravagant enough to make a statement.

They aren't as shiny as they look in the photograph. I thought this would happen, and thank Godzilla it did really. I didn't want them to be so shiny. I was also afraid walking in them, as I thought they would be like walking in heels. I was surprised that it wasn't. I walked like an idiot for like five minutes. I didn't see much of a difference at all from walking in these and walking in regular shoes. They're comfortable to walk in! I'm definately happy with them and have worn them out several times.

Now, I'm feeling these ones :

Muahahaha! We'll see if I get them.

Hello everyone!

I'm Matt, I'll be blogging here, so, here we go! I'm Matt Rangel, I'm 18 going on 19 in a few days and I live in NJ, but I'm pretty much off on my own. I don't have many people around me that are into fashion so I want to meet more people who have the same interests as me (this sounds like a match.com line (O_O) ). I want to really talk in this blog and, sort of express what I have in my mind. I find it hard to do that sometimes, but I'm going to just go for it. I'll be talking mostly about fashion, but all in all I just don't know what I'll be going for.
